Origin and history

The Chabrillan hotel is a mansion built in the 18th century in Montelimar, in the Drôme department. He belongs to Chabrillan's family, which gives him his name. This monument illustrates the civil architecture of this period, with decorative elements typical of the period.

The building has been partially listed as historical monuments since 1981. Only the large living room and its decor are protected by ministerial decree, highlighting their heritage value. The hotel is located at 130 rue Pierre-Julien, in the city centre of Montélimar.

Today, the Chabrillan hotel is a private property. Although its access to the public is not specified, its inscription in historical monuments makes it a significant part of the local heritage. The Drôme, a region rich in history, has many buildings of this period, reflecting the urban and architectural development of the 18th century.
