Origin and history
The Hotel de la Gorce, located in Bagnols-sur-Cèze in the Gard, is a remarkable example of 18th century civil architecture. This monument is characterized by a courtyard decorated with two superimposed galleries, supported by arches in basket handle. The cutting stone balusters and the first floor coffered ceilings, partially crawling under a staircase, bear witness to exceptional craftsmanship.
