Origin and history
The Malakoff Hotel is a monument built in the 1st quarter of the 19th century. Absent the Napoleonic cadastre of 1808, it appears for the first time on a plan dated 1859, confirming its construction in the first half of this century. This building, located at 98 avenue Pierre-Brossolette, illustrates the bourgeois domestic architecture of this period in Île-de-France.
The facades and roofs of the Hotel were inscribed in the Historical Monuments by order of 28 October 1980, thus recognizing their heritage value. The accuracy of its location is considered fair (note 5/10), and the monument depends administratively on the department of Hauts-de-Seine, in the commune of Malakoff (code Insee 92046).
No information is available on its current use (visits, rentals, etc.), or on any historic owners or sponsors. Sources are limited to Monumentum data and internal archives, without further details of its history or occupants.
