Origin and history
The hotel located at 11bis rue Casimir-Périer, in the 7th arrondissement of Paris, is an emblematic building of the early 19th century. Built during the first quarter of the 19th century, it embodies the bourgeois residential architecture of this period, marked by a concern for elegance and symmetry. Its facades and roofs, both on the courtyard and on the garden, as well as the interior decorations of some rooms on the ground floor, testify to this refined style.
The Hotel was partially classified as Historic Monument by order of 11 December 1979. This protection specifically concerns the facades and roofs of the hotel and its communes (old stables), as well as several rooms on the ground floor: the entrance, the dining room, the large and small living room, and an anteroom. These elements, with their original decoration, illustrate the aristocratic or bourgeois way of life of the time.
Although available sources (Monumentum, Merimée database) do not specify its current use, the exact address is clearly identified, with a location deemed "excellent" (note 9/10). The Hotel remains a remarkable example of the Parisian heritage of the early 19th century, preserved for its architectural and historical qualities.
