Origin and history
Hotel Saint-Père is a private hotel located in the preserved area of Dijon, Burgundy-Franche-Comté. Built in the 18th and 19th centuries, it embodies the bourgeois architecture of this period, with reshuffles attributed to the Holy Father family, notably the architect Claude Saintpère, son of Charles, who was probably the author.
Acquired in 1789 by Charles Saint-Père, architect who died two years later, the hotel experienced structural or aesthetic changes under the influence of his son.
