Origin and history
Kerauzern Manor is a historic monument located in the commune of Ploubezre in the Côtes-d'Armor department of Brittany. It consists of two distinct parts: one dating back to the 15th century, recognizable by its sling window, and the other from the 17th century, better preserved. The ensemble, organized around a courtyard, retains remarkable elements such as granite fireplaces and a large staircase with straight steps.
The mansion was partially listed as historic monuments on 26 February 1926. This protection applies in particular to older parts of the building, including architectural structures and interior elements such as chimneys and stairs. The site is representative of the evolution of Breton manors between the Middle Ages and the modern era, mixing defensive and residential features.
The location of the manor, at the 9 Lotissement de Beaulaincourt in Ploubezre, is attested by data from the Merimée database. Although its state of conservation varies according to the parties, the mansion remains an architectural and historical testimony of the region. No information is available about its openness to the public or its current uses (visits, accommodation, etc.).
