Origin and history

The Saint-Sylvestre church of Saint-Sylvestre, located in the department of Ardèche, is a religious monument whose precise history remains little documented in the available sources. His name suggests a connection with Saint Sylvestre, pope of the fourth century, although this dedication does not allow to date the building with certainty.
