Origin and history

The Landes house is a house in the commune of Brain-sur-l'Authion, Maine-et-Loire. This monument is part of the local architectural heritage and was listed as historic monuments in 1984. Today it is located in the territory of the new municipality of Loire-Authion, a result of the merger of several municipalities, including Brain-sur-l'Authion.

Historical houses such as the Landes' home often bear witness to the evolution of housing and lifestyles in the French countryside.
