Origin and history
The Louis-Pasteur school group, located in Vénissieux in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, was built during the second quarter of the 20th century. This building, inscribed in the Historical Monuments by order of 24 July 2003, illustrates the school architecture of this period. Its facades, roofs, courtyards and fence walls are protected, with the exception of a building in the backyard. The official address, 4 road from Corbas, confirms its anchoring in the Venetian urban fabric.
Architects Émile-Auguste Chollat and Perole designed this ensemble, now owned by the municipality. The location, noted with average accuracy (5/10), reflects its importance in the local heritage.
