The house located at 73 rue Jean-Jacques-Rousseau in Chinon is a woody house characteristic of the 15th century. Its ground floor, modernized in stone, contrasts with the two upper floors of wood, where the hurdles were replaced by brickwork. The facades and the roof, covered with slates, have been listed as historical monuments since 1962. The decoration of the first floor, supported by wooden and stone consoles, as well as the diamond patterns of the wooden panels, illustrate the architectural know-how of the period.
