Origin and history
The 18s House, located in Eyguières in the Bouches-du-Rhône, is a mansion built in the 18th century. This monument is included in the inventory of Historic Monuments, with a first protection in 1930 for its facade, ironwork and roof. A second registration, in 2020, extended this protection to the entire hotel, including the inner courtyard, fence walls, gate, as well as ancillary buildings located on the plot.
The official address of this monument is 10 Thiers Square, although GPS coordinates also suggest 16 Thiers Square. The location is estimated as "passable" (note 5/10), and the building does not appear open to the public for visits, rentals or accommodation according to available information. Protected elements include architectural details such as the door tops, the basement, and a courtyard, reflecting the heritage importance of this building.
Available sources, including Monumentum, indicate that this private hotel is representative of 18th century civil architecture in Provence. The successive protections (1930 and 2020) highlight the historical and aesthetic value of its components, including ironworks and exterior spaces such as the terrace and stairway access.
