The House Rue de l'Industrie, located in Saint-Cirq-Lapopie in the Lot, is an example of medieval civil architecture dating from the 15th century. It is distinguished by its wood-paned floor, a common technique in the fortified villages of the time. The façade features a large arcade today walled, as well as a stone-crossed window, characteristic elements of the urban buildings of this period. The protection of this house as a Historical Monument, by order of 25 June 1973, specifically concerns its facades and roofs. This ranking highlights its heritage interest, linked to the preservation of medieval constructive techniques and the urban history of Saint-Cirq-Lapopie, a village ranked among the most beautiful in France. The exact address, Place du Sombral and Rue de l'Industrie, confirms its integration into the historical fabric of the village, marked by narrow alleys and stone houses.
