Origin and history
The Menhir says The Stone to Women is a megalithic vestige erected during the Neolithic, a period marked by the emergence of agriculture and livestock in Europe. Located in Saint-Georges-sur-Moulon, in the Cher department, this monument reflects the cultural and religious practices of the prehistoric societies of the region. Its classification as Historic Monument in 1889 underlines its heritage and archaeological importance.
