Church of Nully: by order of 9 July 1909

Origin and history

The Church of Notre-Dame-en-sa-Nativity of Nully is a religious building located in the village of Nully, in the department of Haute-Marne, in the Grand Est region. Classified as a Historical Monument by decree of 9 July 1909, it now belongs to the municipality and constitutes a central element of the local heritage. Medieval churches such as that of Nully played an essential role in the lives of rural communities.

They served not only as a place of worship, but also as a gathering point for the inhabitants, marking the social and religious rhythms of daily life. In regions such as Champagne-Ardenne, these buildings often reflected the importance of the Christian faith in the organisation of villages and countryside.
