Origin and history

The bridge over the Frezelle de Rollainville is a historic monument located in the commune of Rollainville, in the department of Vosges (Great East). Built between 1788 and 1796, it crosses the Frezelle River and bears witness to the civil architecture of the late eighteenth century. This bridge is the work of Nicolas Pernot, a stone tailor from Barville, who worked according to the plans of Laurent Dralet, surveyor and architect of the Eaux et Forêts de Neufchâteau. Its classification as Historic Monument by decree of 21 December 1984 underlines its heritage importance.
