The Saint-Méen-et-Sainte-Croix church, located in La Fresnais in Ille-et-Vilaine, is a religious building built between 1889 and 1901. It replaces an old church, considered in poor condition and dangerous for parishioners in 1886. The city council made the decision to rebuild it in 1889, and the plans were drawn up in the same year by architect Arthur Regnault. Work began in 1893, near the old building, which was temporarily preserved before being demolished. The new sanctuary was blessed on December 14, 1899, and the work was completed in 1901.

The church combines two distinct architectural styles: the neo-Roman for its external arrangements and the neo-Byzantine for its interior. This mixture reflects the eclectic tendencies of religious architecture of the late 19th century. The building is located in the centre of the village of La Fresnais, on a plot close to the site of the old church.
