The tertre and the cistes of Pusso, shown in the cadastre of the commune section ZL parcel No 61, represented on the plan attached to the decree: inscription by order of 24 July 2023

Origin and history

The Pusso Terten and Cists, located in Erdeven, Morbihan, England, is a Neolithic funerary monument. This type of structure, characteristic of this period, was generally used to house collective or individual burials, reflecting the beliefs and social practices of local prehistoric communities. Terrars and cists were often built with stones and lands, forming tumulus visible in the landscape.

The site was officially recognized and protected by an inscription under the Historic Monuments on 24 July 2023. This protection applies specifically to the terre and cistes located on cadastral parcel ZL No.61 of Erdeven municipality. The location of the monument, although known, is considered fair accuracy (level 5 in 10), which may indicate minor uncertainties about its exact location.

No additional information is available on its current accessibility or use (visits, services).
