Origin and history
The Château La Villeneuve, located in Bellebrune (Pas-de-Calais), is a monument built in the 3rd quarter of the 17th century. Ranked among the Historical Monuments, it illustrates the aristocratic residential architecture of this period, although details of its first owners or its initial function are not specified in the available sources.
The castle park was later built in 1856, by the renowned 19th century landscapers Bühler. This park, associated with the building, is now part of its heritage character. The facades and roofs of the castle were included in the inventory of Historical Monuments by decree of 22 January 1988, thus protecting key elements of its structure.
The castle is located at 430 Rue de la Villeneuve, 62142 Bellebrune, in the department of Pas-de-Calais ( Hauts-de-France region). Its location is considered "very satisfactory" (note 8/10) based on available geographic data. No information is provided on its current accessibility (visits, accommodation or events).
