Origin and history

Château des Templiers is a monument located in the commune of Cornusse, in the Centre-Val de Loire region. Although its name refers to the order of Templars, the available sources do not specify its period of construction or its detailed history. Its name suggests, however, a link with the Templar knights, whose presence in France is attested between the twelfth and fourteenth centuries.
