The gate of Montaigut-le-Blanc is a medieval defensive work built in the 13th century, located in the village of the same name, in Auvergne. It was an integral part of the fortifications protecting both the local castle and the houses of the village. Its architecture, marked by a broken arc, reflects the military techniques of the time, with elements such as ravens formerly supporting mâchicoulis, still visible on the northeast side.
